Impact World Championship declared vacant, new main event for Slammiversary | Wrestling News


During tonight’s episode of Impact Wrestling on AXS TV, it was announced that a new Impact World Champion will be crowned at Slammiversary because the title has been declared vacant.

Due to Tessa Blanchard leaving the company and Impact opting to not use Michael Elgin going forward, the new main event will be Eddie Edwards vs. Trey Miguel vs. Ace Austin vs. a mystery opponent.

Impact World Championship – Fatal Four-Way
Ace Austin vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Trey Miguel vs. TBA

Impact Knockouts Championship
Jordynne Grace (Champion) vs. Deonna Purrazzo

Impact X-Division Championship
Willie Mack (Champion) vs. Chris Bey

Gauntlet Match – Winner will be #1 contender for Impact Knockouts Championship
Alisha Edwards vs. Havok vs. Kiera Hogan vs. Kimber Lee vs. Kylie Rae vs. Nevaeh vs. Rosemary vs. Susie vs. Tasha Steelz vs. Taya Valkyrie

Slammiversary will air on Saturday night, July 18 on pay-per-view.
